This is always good, it's my moms recipe and has been a standby in our house for a while.
I did this in the crock-pot instead of stove top, I just cooked in slow cooker on low for 8 hours or so. It was VERY GOOD!
Chili (From: My Mom)
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1/4 onion
- 3 stalks celery (optional)
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 lg. can chopped tomatos
- 1 can chili beans
- chili powder to flavor
- Sour cream
- Cheddar cheese
Fry hamburger and onion together in a pan.
Combine all ingredients in a pot, simmer on low for about an hour.
Top with a dollop or sour cream and some cheddar cheese. ENJOY!
