This is a recipe I grew up one, but one that I don't make often since being out on my own, or married. Last week when Adam and I were planning the menu, this came to me. I am so glad I made it as it was a good change!!
Swiss Steak (From: My Mom)
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 large steak, I used a bottom round steak
Heat a skillet with some oil in it, on high heat.
Brown the meat, you want to meat on each side for a minute or two.
Place a can of cream of mushroom on the bottom of slow cooker, then place steak, then top with other can.
Cook on medium to low heat all day, enjoy. I served with mashed potatoes.
