Grilling Season Is Coming

We hit a record high of 81 today,in March. That's pretty good for March in Minnesota, of course next week it's suppose to be 40. But Adam and I took advantage of the weather today. We had some steaks, and a tin foil dinner and grilled out.

We parked our blanket on top of a hill and relaxed and enjoyed the breeze. It was a wonderful day. The pictures isn't the greatest as it's taken in the dirty tin-foil but it was GOOD.

Steaks: Adam put Seasoning salt, and Woreschure Sauce.

Tin Foil Dinner (My Grandmas Recipe)

  • Spray shiny side of the foil with cooking spray. then put in veggies.
  • I used potato (cut up into chucks), baby carrots, and onion.
  • Put butter, I used a stick because a lot of it burns off. Cut it in 2 tablespoon pieces and place around.
  • Add, salt, pepper, season salt, to taste.
  • Crimp edges all around and place on top part of the grill.

Grill for about 20 minutes our until potatoes are done.

***Tips: Can add mushroom, pineapple, anything you want to it. Really wonderful addition and easy clean up!!

Those tin foil packs look yummy. I'll have to give them a try next time I grill out.

This reminds me of a recipe I first learned in Girl Scouts except you put a thin, raw but not frozen hamburger patty on top of the veggies. And I've made something like this as a camping meal.
