Sugar Cookies

I will admit sugar cookies can be a pain in the butt to make, you have to refrigerate the dough overnight, then you have to roll and cut out the shapes, then bake and cool, then mix the frosting and frost. But to me these scream christmas cookies.

We used the same sugar cookie recipe I used here.

Keep the warm thought’s and good cooking going Carrie, your doing a GREAT job!You remind me a lot of me when I was a young wife with small children.I baked a lot and was always looking for new ideas. Not so much now days.I made a HUGE batch of sugar cookies last year with my ten year old nephew.I made the kind that didn’t have to go in the frig.SOOOOOOO, we get all done with the first huge bunch, frosted them and they tasted very rude.It turns out that the powered sugar was from like 1975.I learned a big lesson there.I don’t think Im the first to of done so maybe an idea to mention to your fans that the powered sugar should be from at least the last from this century
