I love squash but don't buy it often because I can't eat a whole one and Adam doesn't like it, but the grocery store had an awesome deal and they were really small. So I bought one. I made it just like my mom always did growing up.

Squash (From: My Mom)
  • 1 squash (she always used acorn)
  • 4 Tb. butter
  • brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350.

Cut squash in half pull out all the seeds. And place cut side face up on a baking sheet.

Place 2 Tb. of butter in each half, and put some brown sugar in the hole, as much or as little as you like.

Bake for 30-45 minutes or until tender.
