New Toy

I have been thinking about buying a bread machine for a few months now. Adam loves his bread, especially fresh bread. I went out shopping with my mom yesterday. I asked her yesterday morning when she picked me up, if she still had her bread maker. I remember growing up she had one, and rarely used it. She had sold it in a garage sale. :-(

We decided to stop at a local thrift store yesterday while out... I found a bread machine, they had 4 or 5 of them, I saw them and was instantly excited, but figured they didn't work or something. I looked at the price they are $4.95 and 25% off that. We plugged it in to make sure it worked and it did. So I bought it!!!

I tried a loaf of bread last night, it was a box of bread, but I have my first homemade loaf in now. I will post a review this afternoon. If anyone has any recipes for a bread machine I would love for you to share them... Is it just me or is getting kitchen toys more fun then getting toys when you were a little kid?? For now here's a picture of my new toy! :-)

What a great deal. I have a bread machine but rarely ever use it. I guess I should dig it out and use it more often.
