Chicken and Potatoes on the Grill

Today was another beautiful day in Minnesota, and we knew we wanted to get out and enjoy it as much as possible, cause you never know with MN weather, it could snow next week. When shopping over the weekend we bought a packet of Grill Mates, Garlic, Herb, and Wine Marinate. It made for a very tasty dinner along with our outside picnic! Sorry the pictures is not the best we just wanted to eat :-)!

Marinated Chicken
  • Marinate Chicken
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet grill mates seasoning (Garlic, Herb, and Wine)
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 T. vinegar

I pour the marinate ingredients in a large ziploc mix then add chicken breasts, I turn bag about every 2 hours, don't have too!

Grill for about 10 min. on each side, pouring extra marinate on if you want.

Marinated Tin-Foil Dinner

  • 5 potatoes
  • 1/2 bag baby carrots
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 T. vinegar
  • 1 packet grill mates seasoning (Garlic, Herb, and Wine)

I cut my potatoes into chunks, and laid on tin foil then placed carrots on top, then onions. I then drizzled the marinated down across it.

Grill for about 30 minutes. Flipping if tin-foil will allow.

**Tips, our tin-foil always breaks around the edges, I want to try the tin-foil bags, might be an idea. These had awesome flavor, better then with butter!!
