After going apple picking I had lots of leftover apples, I found this blogging event at Sugar High Friday, and figure this would be a good way to spark my creativity and to use up some of my apples.
My WC Sis gave me this idea, I took it and created my own little masterpiece. I personally don't like baked apples very much so Adam enjoyed these. It made the house smell like apple cider :-)
Baked Apples (From: Stephany)
- 2 apples
- brown sugar
- maple syrup
- cinnamon
- sugar
- rum
Preheat oven to 350.
Take out the core out of your apple, and stuffed with brown sugar.
Place in a pan, and drizzle maple syrup over the top. Then sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top.
Pour some rum in the pan just enough to coat the bottom of the pan.
